Books on Wine

	Wine Tasting Notebook If you only get one book on wine, let this be the one!  Keeping a wine tasting notebook is fun and a great way to train your palate. This pocket sized notebook is superior to others because it includes a wine-resistant wine tasting guide with wine tasting terms and it has 160 pages that are pre-printed with the repetitive parts of a note (color, aroma, etc). 	World Atlas of Wine This is a fabulous, comprehensive guide to wine and wine regions all over the world.  With over 400 pages including maps and color photos, it is an essential book for any wine lover’s library (or coffee table).
	Windows on the World Complete Wine Course: 25th Anniversary Edition Are you interested in wine and want to learn more about it?   Or perhaps you just want to feel more comfortable when choosing from a restaurant’s wine list?  This is a well written guide that covers wine regions, grape varietals and wine characteristics.  Most of the wine questions I’ve been asked are answered in this book.  Best of all it includes suggested wine flights (of readily available wines) to compare and contrast.
	Wine and War: The French, the Nazis, and the Battle for France’s Greatest Treasure Written with fascinating detail, this non-fiction historical thriller recounts how French people kept their wine out of the hands of the Nazi’s in World War II.  It also talks about how World War II affected the world wine industry.  A great read for any wine lover or history buff!
